Turkish Grand Prix

On May 6th Vettel had an car accident when doing the first training of free practice. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the crash but Vettel's car was broken badly. It made him can not join the second training session. How did the accident happen? I think the rain is the main factor to cause the accident. Driving in the rain is dangerous, let alone in such a high speed.

Though Vettel didn't do well in free practice, he still won the pole position in qualifying on Saturday. Of course, he also won the champion of Turkish Grand Prix. Comparing to the last game in China, this game wasn't that exciting, because it's almost a Vettel's solo show. By the way, I was really surprised at the Red Bull's repair efficiency.

KERS

KERS is the acronym of "Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems". Its a kind of system that can recover the kinetic energy when drivers brake and store it in a reservoir. The drivers can decide when to use the energy to accelerate.

In 2009 KERS was first used in F1, but it was quite contradictory that KERS was abandoned by the F1 teams in 2010. According to the information I received, the reason why they decided to abandon the systems was that some teams exploit regulatory loopholes and made the F1 games become less exciting than before.

This year KERS return to F1. The technique of KERS is more mature and the rules are also modified. In my opion, the games is really more excited after using the systems this year!

Chinese Grand Prix

The F1 GP in China was really a great game. In this game I want to mention a person especially, his name is Mark Webber. He was really awesome in that game. On April 16th he didn't have a great performance in the qualifying, he was eliminated in Q1 and only got the 18th starting position. Though he didn't get advantage in the qualifying, he finally win the third of the game by his driving technique and good team strategy.

Mark Webber's performance reminded me that Kimi also had done something similar to him, but better than him. It was the game in 2005, the Japanese GP held in Suzuka. Kimi only got the 17th starting position, what he did better than Webber was that he won the championship in the final. That was really a very awesome game!!!

Malaysian Grand Prix

This Sunday, April 10th, the second game of F1 was held in Malaysia. Except the champion, the top three drivers are different to the last game. But the men who won the second and the third places were from the same team, it means that there is a big gap between the teams in the technical phase. By the way, the driver who won the championship in Malaysia is Sebastian Vettel.

To win a championship in F1 Grand Prix is very difficult, it needs luck and good driving technique. Besides, a good team and teammates is also a very important factor.

Qualifying

The qualifying is the game before every GP. The F1 drivers' start order is decided on the ranking of the qualifying, so it is a very important game to those F1 drivers.

There are three part in the qualifying. The rules of qualifying is a bit complicated, so I don't explan it too much here. The champion of the qualifying is called P.P.(Pole Position), but how come it has such a strange name? Actually, I don't know either.
In 2011 an important rule returned to F1, called 107 percent qualifying regulation. This rule was last seen in 2002, however, it was reintroduced in 2011. Because of the rule, this year all cars' Q1 lap time must be within 107 percent of the fastest in that phase of qualifying or it would lose the right to participate the GP. For instance, if the fastest car is 1min40sec, the cars which grades slower than 1min47sec are not permitted to participate the GP.

Australian Grand Prix

Last Sunday the first game was held in Australia. Originally, the first game should be held in Bahrain on Mar 13th, but it was forced to postpone the game because of the internal rebellion. The FIA hopes the organizer of Bahrain Grand Prix can make the final decision as to whether they can hold the game or not before May 1st, but it seems to be all the more difficult to hold such a big game in that kind of situation.

Return to the topic, the champion of Australian Grand Prix is Sebastian Vettel. He overtook the second one with a full 22 seconds. It is really a big gap in F1!

About Formula 1 and my favortit driver

Formula 1, also called F1, is one of the most famous car racing games in the world. It is held from March to November every year. The best drivers in the world will gather to race.

My favorite F1 driver is Kimi Räikkönen, in 2009 he was force to quit his career in F1 because of Santander(One of the largest banks in the world). Kimi had helped Ferrari to win the world champion in 2007, but base on the benefit consideration Ferrari still choose to fire Kimi.

Though my favorite F1 driver had left, my passion to F1 will never decrease!
